PICKWICK APPEAL
Some of our critics have compared us unfavourably with Dickens' fictional
Pickwick Club - a nineteenth century parody of contemporary intellectual
associations. We would have much preferred comparison with the London Corresponding
Society. In response to our detractors, we invite you to participate in
our Pickwick Appeal. This simply involves sending us a £10 note with
a picture of the cricket match between Dingley Dell and All Muggleton on
the reverse. Sorry, old style £10 notes cannot be accepted.
